Privacy Policy for Concert Night Planner (Custom GPT)

Who we are

ConcertPlannerAI (“we”, “us”). This Custom GPT runs inside ChatGPT and calls our proxy at concert-planner-proxy.vercel.app to fetch event and places data for your requests. Our website is concertplannerai.com.

What data we process

• Conversation inputs you type in ChatGPT (e.g., city/venue, preferences).
• Location you provide (city/ZIP/address/coords) strictly to run searches.
• Proxy request logs (timestamp, endpoint, parameters, coarse IP metadata) for reliability, security, and analytics.
• Click-outs (e.g., ticket or map links) may be logged in aggregate to improve quality.

We do not ask for or store your API keys. We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (health, financial, etc.).

How we use data

• Provide the service (events, restaurants/bars, parking, agenda formatting).
• Debug issues, measure performance, prevent abuse.
• Improve relevance using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

Data sharing

We call third-party services only to fulfill your request:

• SeatGeek (events), Foursquare (places).
• Mapping links you click: Google Maps / Apple Maps.
• Optional parking services you request: e.g., SpotHero, ParkWhiz.
• Hosting for our proxy: Vercel.

We do not sell your data. We share only what’s necessary to perform the task.

Retention

• Proxy logs: retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymized.
• Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be retained longer.

Security

Transport encryption (HTTPS), server-side secret management, and role-based access to logs. No API keys are exposed to the GPT.

Your choices & rights

• You can use the GPT without precise location; a city or ZIP works.
• Request access or deletion of proxy-side data by emailing privacy@concertplannerai.com with approximate usage date/time and query context.
• If you are in a region with data rights (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may exercise access, deletion, correction, and portability rights as applicable.

Children

Not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us.

Cross-border processing

Data may be processed in the United States and other locations where our infrastructure and vendors operate.

Third-party terms

Clicking out to third-party sites (e.g., ticketing, maps) is governed by their privacy policies.

Updates

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted at concertplannerai.com/privacy with a new “Last updated” date.
